1. TIFF image specs: These images are 16 or 8-bit colour, 300 dpi, and RGB format.
2. DISCLAIMER: Different labs will produce slightly different colour/contrast results not under our control, depending on the printers they use and the paper they use, so if using a different lab than the one we did, we recommend you take in the printed proof so they can try to mimic the results. Otherwise, results and quality may vary. We are not responsible for any output by any lab: it is your responsibility to monitor output and quality after we give you a disc of images. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU ALWAYS PRINT A SMALLER TEST COPY or PROOF (I.E. 5X7) BEFORE MASS PRODUCING OR MAKING EXPENSIVE LARGER PRINTS OR ADVERTISING: IT WILL SAVE YOU TIME AND $.
3. If you are doing display in a magazine, catalog, or other professional printing jobs, your graphic artist may need to convert to CMYK format that may render colour a little differently. When converting to CMYK check image to see if any colours are rendering incorrect, and make changes accordingly.
4. If you’re posting images on the web, please understand that every monitor will display the very same image differently, and this is beyond our or your control. Most monitors’s aren’t calibrated or viewed in consistent lighting conditions: thus, some will display images too dark, too bright, or with strange casts. You should trust your actual proof printout, which we made from a calibrated monitor to a calibrated printer as to what the image should look like, if your monitor isn’t calibrated. It was printed, as is, WYSIWYG’ed to our monitor.
